the credo - Blog Or Die, Biyotches!

OK, who cares, right? Here saga goes with them LV words again...Well, the guilty now know where the blog is, and access it enough so that feelings will get involved. So I'm (again) considering the reason for the blog, as well as feeling the need to explain, to anyone who happens upon this, my blogger's credo.

I first thought about this when I came upon Prime's thoughts on the matter. The idea that I'm creating an online persona never crossed my mind when I started blogging a few years ago. And it's only lately, since I know people are paying attention that I even gave it any thought, 'Specially people at work, but that's an entirely different duck.

I vowed to blog the truth, the whole truth, and nuttin but the truth, KWIM. Well, only as much of the truth that was worth sharing (y'all ain't really trying to know e'erything). Just enough to keep it interesting, and not intentionally omit shyt that may make me, (or someone else) look bad.

See, to me blogging is sorta like writing. I do it to breath, to make sense out of things that make little sense. I vent, I rant, I cry and I share joy. I can't worry much about those feelings I mentioned earlier. That would kill my freedom, and after all - sans everything else, that's all we really own - our freedom (well, and love, but again - another duck). Someone is bound to get bent about something I write, and the only advice I can offer is this - if I'm lying, I can understand your getting pissy. But if I'm sharing the whole truth? C'mon man - try not to take it personal. I'm a "journalist"...lol.

Hence, the Credo: Blog the truth, and damn the liar. And the truth is the story. The goal is to tell it the way it's supposed to be told, not the way it makes anyone look, or anyone feel and not to worry about the consequences. They'll work themselves out.

Feel free to call me on my shyt, too. Seriously. Now that I've put my intentions out there, if you can't call me on it, who can?
